MR. REGIS RODOLPHE MARTIN – DIRECTOR OF GROUP LEASE PCL

Mr. Regis Rodolphe Martin, a Non-Executive Director of the Company who was first appointed to the Board on 20 December 2016, was re-elected at the Annual General Meeting held on 30 June 2017.

Mr. R.R. Martin is a Director of Group Lease Public Company Ltd. Group Lease is one of the leading finance companies in ASEAN providing leasing and micro finance services targeting the rural and unbanked population in emerging markets and is now one of the Unique Corporation in the region with a strong presence in most of the ASEAN markets such as Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia and Myanmar. The company is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Group Lease acquired 29.99% stake of Commercial Credit and Finance PLC through its Singapore subsidiary. Mr. Martin joined Group Lease in 2014 as Business Development Manager, and then was promoted as Senior VP for Finance and Business Development of Group Lease in 2015, acted as CFO in April 2016 and he has worked extensively on the expansion of Group Lease in all new ASEAN markets.

Mr. Regis Martin has now been working in South East Asia for almost 10 years since he moved to Cambodia in 2008 as Senior Auditor for the audit firm Morrison Kak and Associes in Phnom Penh. He also worked as Investment Portfolio Manager for Devenco, a boutique Venture Capital company in Cambodia. In addition, Mr. Martin provides teaching of financial analysis to a class of Master students as the Royal University of Law and Economics in Phnom Penh for several years. Prior to moving to South East Asia, Mr. Martin worked as auditor for PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Paris, as Sales Forecast Controller for L‘Oreal Paris and at the French Ministry of Economy of Finance.

Mr. Martin is a graduate of the Paris IX Dauphine where he received a Master of Art in International Business and Master of Science in Applied Economics.

Mr. Martin joined the Board of Commercial Credit and Finance PLC in December 2016.

Combined more than 10 years experience in France and South East Asia markets in the field of management, financial accounting and administration, venture capital and audit.My last experience as CFO of a regional company located in 7 countries employing more than 3000 staffs allowed me to acquire significant experience in team and project management with international exposure as well as develop expertise in reporting, financial analysis and business performance.With an initial background in the audit industry, I have demonstrated my ability to lead various teams internationally on the supervision of financial accounting functions, through business development missions on M&A, due diligence and valuations, as well as fundraising and structuring of debt/equity instruments.Mission highlights: reorganization, recruitment and supervision of new global team to allow international expansion, management of consolidation for listed company with 8 subsidiaries and 3 associates, EBIT growth of more than 44%, completion of transactions worth more 130M USD including acquisitions and equity injections in new subsidiaries, fundraising of more than 250M USD from private institutions, established regional banks and government agencies, reduction of cost of debt from 7% to 5.4%.
